A readable piece of an extremely rare variety of 3-penny 1831 so-called eagle's paw bent.
An item of correct presentation, in patina with a green tint.
The coin is found sporadically in the trade.
Obverse: crowned escutcheon with the coats of arms of the Crown and the Grand Duchy of Lithuania, above it in a half-arc the legend:
KROLESTWO POLSKIE (THE KINGDOM OF POLAND); below the shield initials K-G- Karol Gronau - administrator of the Warsaw Mint in 1829-1834;
Reverse: in an oak wreath the inscription 3/GROSZE/POLS-/1831;
