Striking gold coin weighing two ducats minted to commemorate the oath taken by the city of Torun to King Michael. Obverse: bust of the king in robe and laurel wreath, facing right. In the rim the titulature. Reverse: view of the city with the Vistula River, under which the city coat of arms is placed. In the rim the inscription: EX AURO SOLIDO CIVIT THORUNENSIS FERI FEC (from pure gold the city of Torun ordered to be minted). On the sides, the city's coat of arms (H-DL - Hans Dawid Lauer). Above-average preserved piece. A typologically important gold coin. Recommended.
