Top Pop: the only graded example! From the Fernand David collection, March 12, 2022, no. 252. There are two examples of this type and workshop in the rue de Gonzague treasure trove in Charleville-Mézières [S. Sombart & A. Tissière, 1996]. This may be the third known example.

Near-perfect reformation, on a double louis in the sun, with the sun alone barely visible on the reverse. Beautifully fresh, close to mint condition, with the original gloss barely burnished. Wide flan. Very nice bust and spectacular module. Superb at Fleur de coin.
