Beautiful art. With mirror and patina.

An iconographically mysterious brakteat, in which W. Garbaczewski, due to the original composition, sees an allusion to the Blessed Virgin Mary (?).

Representation: two lilies framed in an arcade topped by a tower, at the bottom a strip with the Hebrew inscription BRACHA (blessing).

Dating: 1202-1227 (?).

Silver, diameter 14.2 mm, weight 0.09 g.
