The present coin is not only a beautiful piece, but also a very rare variation of these shellacs.

A variety without a crown over an eagle shield, graded by Edmund Kopicki at the R4 rarity grade.

Very well struck, with a beautiful luster, appreciated with a MS note in NGC grading.

Obverse: eagle in a shield. In the rim:

KASIMIRVS:R:POLON*.

Reverse: coat of arms of Gdansk in a shield. In the rim:
COIN:CIVIT:DANC3◦.
