A nice piece of the penultimate vintage of John Casimir's orts in a dark patina.
Obverse: Bust of John Casimir Vasa facing right in plate armor with lace lined collar. Foliate epaulet with buttons andrivets. Four-breasted crown with jewels. On the king's chest the Order of the Golden Fleece suspended from an ornamental chain. The folds of the cloak are visible on the shoulder and chest. Under the shoulder the letters TLB, the initials of Titus Livius Boratini, lessee of the Bydgoszcz mint. Under the bust, a Slepowron in a shield, the coat of arms of the Grand Treasurer of the Crown Jan Kazimierz Krasinski, in the rim the legend:

Reverse: crowned with a crown with jewels in a closed rim, with 5 fleurons, a five-field shield with the coats of arms of the Crown of the Kingdom of Poland, the Grand Duchy of Lithuania and the coat of arms of the Snopes of the Vasa dynasty, on the sides of the shield labrys and the denomination marking 1-8, in the rim a legend punctuated by the coat of arms of Wieniawa the Great Crown Treasurer Boguslaw Leszczynski:
