Issued in the name of Alexander III minted in 202 or 201 BC.

A beautifully preserved example of a Macedonian tetradrachm.

Obverse: head of Heracles in the scalp of a lion, clockwise;

Reverse: Zeus on a throne to the left, in the field behind him the legend, in the left field the year mark;

Silver, diameter 30 mm, weight 16.28 g, axis 12 h.
