Obverse: the ruler's head to the left, below it the mint mark G, in the rim the legend:
FRIEDRICH GROSHERZOG VON BADEN;

Reverse: eagle of the Reich, in the rim legend:
DEUTSCHES REICH 1902 FUNF MARK;
