A very rare type of Wroclaw denarius from a distinctive issue with the head of St. John and the monogram SI (Sanctus Iohannes) forming a cross.
Issued by Boleslaw the Wry-mouthed as Silesian prince, dated 1097-1107.
Beautiful piece, very good legibility, impressive denarius.
