Grade: NGC MS63
Certificate: NGC 6141385-009
Reference: Kopicki 55 (R2), Stronczyński T.51

The oldest type of Curly denarii in beautiful mint condition.

A very impressive coin, with a charming patina. Beautiful presentation of the reliquary page. Technical sucking of the metal of the reliquary frame on the side with the prince.

Distinctive type with the representation of St. Adalbert's head in a square reliquary. According to Professor Suchodolski, the choice of this patron was a manifestation that it was the saint himself who sanctioned the seizure of power.

A variation with the saint's name written clockwise and the prince's name reversed.

Obverse: the prince on a throne, in front, with a sword in his lap. In the rim: BOL-E-Z-L-AVS**.

Reverse: reliquary with head in front. In the rim: S.ADALBET(lying)IVS
