LT.J.10 - DT.2271 v. ; Billon - 1.34 g - 15 mm - 3 h
With a pen-and-ink label. This quarter came from the Stroehlin collection (1910 sale), then from the Bernard Roth collection (1912), which illustrated it in the British Numismatic Journal, vol.IX, 1912, pl.III, n° 51, then from the G. G. collection (bought 1200 francs in 1974).
Beautifully struck, with welcome relief and good centering. Nice gray patina. Superb.
