500 zloty 1976, Tadeusz Kosciuszko

A 500 zloty coin with the image of Kosciuszko and a similar one with Pulaski were minted in 1976 to celebrate the 200th anniversary of US Independence. Both Poles were heroes of the United States involved in the fight for US independence.
