Wooden case, partially glazed, front and sides covered with marquetry of chrysotile and brass sheet with stylized floral thread motif. Bronze appliqués: decorative mouldings on the edges; on the extension of the legs - full-figured female heads; on the front at the bottom - applied bronze decoration with the figure of a seated woman and a heron; in the finial of the high canopy - a seated putto. Dial with Roman numerals (hours) and Arabic numerals (minutes) - on enameled white plaques; in the middle signed: "BALTHAZARD / A. PARIS".
Included is the winding key, case key and pendulum.
condition: at top left, brass plate detached from case; at top right, similar (but smaller) detachment.
