TABLE CLOCK, Poland, Gdansk, Andreas Lincke, ca. 1750

Bronze, steel; 11.5 of 17 x 17 cm Clock on 6 legs with leaf motif, 6-wall. Lower edge with acanthus cornice; above on corners winged angel heads. Surrounded by a slightly convex band of openwork decoration with an acanthus thread motif interwoven with a ribbon. On top of the dial with an applied graduated ring: Roman numerals for hours and Arabic numerals for minutes. Openwork hands. In the middle a small dial with Arabic division. On the underside signed "ANDREAS LINCKE / A. DANTZIG". In addition, steel bell bowl; also visible is the openwork bun covering the balance and decorative openwork caps with acanthus vicia.
