A nice pocket watch in silver made by a well-known maker from Poznan on the occasion of the 200th anniversary of the Victory of Vienna.
On the dial, instead of numerals, the inscription JAN III SOBIESKI, on the back envelope a portrait of the king and an inscription: Liberator of Vienna 1683-1883
A pleasant relic from the genre of Polish patriotism.
Mechanism in working order. Dial in good condition, with light cracks and losses. Rear envelope hallmarked with .800 silver from Germany after 1886.
