Clock with elongated base, supported on bun feet and volute rests; front with acanthus cornice, decorated with rosettes and centered with head and skin of Nemean lion and crossed Roman legion signs. Above, a white-enameled shield with Roman hour division, banded with pearl; on the sides, laurel and palm branches against a background of scroll and amazon shield. In the finial, the figure of a seated, bearded man in antique robes and a laurel wreath, with a scroll in his hand; next to a lyre, a shield and a sword. Key and pendulum included.
