Blackened wooden clock case, with a semi-circular stepped base at the bottom, on which rests a prismatic clock case with pilasters. Gilt brass and wood decorative appliqués. At the bottom, painted on copper plate, a landscape painting of a watermill, signed and dated 'C L Hofmeister Wien 1825'. Automaton with mill wheel and running water.
