Diploma from the Department of Ceramics and Glass at the State Higher School of Fine Arts (now the E. Geppert Academy of Fine Arts) in Wroclaw, 1985. Since 1988 employed at his alma mater, initially at the Department of Painting and Sculpture, since 1996 at the Department of Ceramics and Glass. Deputy Dean of the Department of Ceramics and Glass at the Academy of Fine Arts in Wroclaw, 2002 - 2005; Dean of the department, 2008 - 2012. In 2014, he was awarded the title of professor.

Numerous awards of distinction, including First Prize at the 3rd International Ceramics Biennial, Zarautz, Spain, 1996; Honorable Mention at the 9th International Ceramics Competition Mino, Japan, Mino, Japan, 2011; Honorary Badge of "Merit to Polish Culture", awarded by the Minister of Culture and National Heritage, 2012.
