He studied art at the Higher School of Pedagogy in Czestochowa, but says himself that his studies gave him only theoretical preparation and he is a self-taught painter. In 1991, he became a member of ZPAP. After his individual debut in the country (exhibition at BWA, Czestochowa 1994), his works were included in the traveling exhibition "Polish Surrealists" presented in Poland in 1995-1997. In 1998, his work was taken up by the New York gallery Stricoff Fine Art Ltd. The artist represents the popular trend of so-called magic realism. "Trips into the land of fantasy are for me a search for treasures that I would like to share. The mind is a kind of dream factory activated for the time of creation. Coming up with monumental compositions is an attempt to exist in the world of imagination, away from everyday life."
