Sudeten glassworks?, Biedermeier vase

layered glass, hand-molded, polished painted and gilded, height 16 cm, pouring diameter 13 cm.

On a round arched foot, a widening not high stem, and on it a cup-shaped bowl of the vessel. Milky and green layered glass. Symmetrically arranged ground parts create a two-tone surface on the outside, highlighted with subtle gilding and decorated with numerous painted small flowers and bouquets.
Elegant and in excellent condition, this example of Biedermeier glass probably came from Sudeten glassworks - specializing at the time in the manufacture of luxury glass objects, both utilitarian and decorative.
