Very nice figurine - bust of Kosciuszko.
Unsigned workmanship, model based on the Lviv design of Gebhardt made in biscuit.
The term biscuit is used to describe a pre-sintered ceramic mass. This sintering takes place at a temperature lower than that at which the final firing takes place - the stage at which porcelain, or china, is obtained. Biscuit is characterized by having a much lower hardness and mechanical strength than the ceramic product obtained after final firing. Besides, biscuit is easily subjected to mechanical processing, as well as glazing.
Preservation condition of the object is very good.
Dimensions: height 18,5 x width of bust 6,5 x 8 cm.
