The jug comes from Boleslawiec, a well-known pottery center in Lower Silesia (formerly Bunzlau). A distinctive brown glaze covers the entire vessel, which is decorated with plastic floral motifs and a heraldic coat of arms, typical of the region. On the front of the jug is the date "1768", which indicates its production in the second half of the 18th century. The jug is finished with a tin lid, which is not only functional, but also an aesthetic element characteristic of period ceramics.
