_____
Bifron is an elaborate composition, made with the use of fused glass, glass blowing and "cold" glass processing (cutting, grinding, sandblasting). Also in this sculpture the author's technique of enclosing paintings in glass is used. The sculpture depicts the duality of human nature, and the strong, decisive colors and sharp, protruding glass elements further add expression and dynamics to "Bifron". This work was created in 2016 and has been shown in exhibitions: Pati Dubiel, Pawel Borowski, Stanislaw Borowski(junior), Grabski Gallery, in Kazimierz Dolny, at Pati Dubiel's solo exhibition "Modus Operandi" at the European Glass Festival in 2019.

Her works are present in the collections of museums min. In the Karkonosze Museum in Jelenia Gora, in the National Museum in Poznan, in the Glass Heritage Center in Krosno, in the Ernsting Foundation, in Coesfeld, Germany, in the European Organization ECCO, in Denmark, in art-related institutions and collections of private individuals.

Pati Dubiel has always been interested in drawing, color and form. She has developed her own technique for "enclosing" an image, a kind of story, in glass. Dubiel, using the whole range of available possibilities for glass processing, has created her own, very individual and recognizable style, which cannot be confused with any other. In her work, the artist is guided by intuition, while trying to show her world.

Pati-sculptures light in form turn out to be strong in content. Painting, drawing and sculpture always go hand in hand, complementing and continuing the main idea. In a slightly exaggerated version, Dubiel's works illustrate the world of the 21st century, which is a modern Tower of Babel. The artist often refers to the cultural melting pot in which we live today, the social turmoil and problems of civilization - issues of integration, tolerance, understanding, as well as the eroticization of society. She is most inspired by man, his sensuality and emotions, which translate into his functioning and behavior. The rich narrative characterizing Pati Dubiel's sculptures is accompanied by great attention to detail. The artist does not shy away from the use of equipment such as airbrush, silk-screen, waterjet in her work - however, she believes that true art should "contain" in itself "as much as possible of the artist himself", his sensitivity, spirit and creative action. Dubiel's works are inspired by what surrounds her - both nature and man himself, with his whole range of emotions and feelings.

The creation of Pati Dubiel's glass sculptures is, as she herself says, like building a house - she starts with the foundations, the base, the general outline of the work and ends with the fine-tuning of the details of the composition. The details and finishing touches complete and add to the whole. With the help of various techniques, she achieves the intended effect - she shows the beauty and possibilities of glass and includes in it the story she wants to convey to the recipient

Pati Dubiel's artwork escapes the usual patterns, which makes her objects look like a Trojan horse - they will start to reveal more than what is visible at first glance!
