Studied at the Faculty of Sculpture of the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow. She received her diploma with honors in the studio of Prof. Stefan Borzecki in 1991. From 1991 to 1998 she was an assistant under Prof. Bronislaw Chromy at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow. She works in sculpture, drawing and, since 2014, ceramics, creating under the Mariusz Dydo brand logo. She is the author of 240 medals, dozens of statuettes for public institutions and private individuals. The artist's works are in the collections of: Jagiellonian University Museum, National Museum in Krakow, Vatican Museum-collections of Pope John Paul II and Pope Francis, Jagiellonian University Medical Faculty Museum, Krakow Medical Society, Warsaw Medical Society and private collections in Poland, the United States, the Czech Republic and the Netherlands She is a member of the Association of Polish Artists In 2018, a book was published entitled. , "Medical Medals of Małgorzata Kot" by Zdzisław Gajda
