Biography
He is a graduate of the Faculty of Architecture and Urban Planning at the Cracow University of Technology. The chosen field of study allowed the artist to look at space from a completely different angle. Associated with the art of street art since the mid-90s, Nawer seeks in the space of the city a unique whole creating and expressing the hustle and bustle of the city. Apparent chaos, clashing colors, interpenetrating contrasts are the compositional dominants of his artistic activity. In his work he has gone a long way from painting classic letters that are part of graffiti culture to geometric and spatial forms. He places his constructions both on canvas and on other materials, including experimenting with concrete and steel. He is one of the pioneers of the trend known in the contemporary art world as graffuturism. He participated in two of the most important exhibitions defining and defining this phenomenon: "Rudimentary Perfection" in 2011 at Glasgow's Recoatw gallery and a year later, in London in the "Futurism 2.0" exhibition. In 2015, he was invited by world-renowned artist Takashi Murakami to present his works in a solo exhibition in Tokyo . Nawer's works have been shown in galleries around the world, including Los Angeles, Paris, San Francisco, Marrakech, London, Turin and Berlin.
