On a square low base diagonally composed genre group. Man in tricorn hat and unbuttoned cubicle (haberdashery salesman?), in slight contrapposto, bent over, leaning with elbow against portable drawer case set on stone, with coiled ribbon (tape) in raised right hand. Next to her, sitting on the ground, a woman embraces with her left hand a naked child in a cap sitting on her lap, eating with her fingers from a bowl held up by her mother. Dressed in a long gown and a kaftan with contrasting folds, with her hair tied up with a band-aid; she lifts her head toward the man and extends her right hand toward him with an unspecified object (beaten).
