Adam Broż (born January 27, 1935 in Bielsk) - Polish art historian and journalist, living in Rome since 1965, secretary of Emeryk Hutten-Czapski (1969-1979) and Karol Popiel (1970-1977), author of guides to Rome.
He studied art history at Jagiellonian University and was involved in art photography. From 1968 he was administrator of the Hospice of the Polish Knights of Malta in Rome (later the Malta House). He completed many courses in archaeology and paper conservation, among others. While in Rome, he met Federico Fellini and was an extra in the film Casanova. As a journalist, he published in many magazines and publications: Tygodnik Powszechny, Przekrój, Kultura, Nowy Dziennik (New York) ....
All the while he was building up a collection of engravings by the most prominent engravers with portraits of artists.
