"Polish Cities in the Millennium" is a two-volume Polish historical-geographical encyclopedia published to celebrate the 1000th anniversary of the Polish state, showing the history of individual cities and provinces located in Poland. "The publication was developed by a 25-member editorial team associated with the Ossoline National Institute. The scientific editor of the publication was Mateusz Siuchniński. The chairman of the editorial board was Stanisław Pazyra, and the secretary was Edward Rączka. The editorial committee included Stefan Andrzejewski, Stanisław Arnold, Marian Filip, Aleksander Gieysztor, Marian Haisig, Stanisław Herbst, Andrzej Rudziński, Michał Wąsowicz, Adam Wendel. Scientific documentation of the coats of arms was compiled by Marian Haisig, Zygmunt Wdowiszewski, Marian Gumowski. Colorful boards with coats of arms under the direction of Leon Urbański were made by the team: Jerzy Kozlowski, Janusz Ostaszyk, Hanna Pulawska, Jan Sarnecki, Antoni Slociak" [Wikipedia].
