A pair of three candelabra candelabras

Gilded bronze, alabaster; height 35.2 cm, width 23 cm, depth 11.7 cm.
Western Europe, 2nd half of 19th century.
Octagonal bases and pedestals in the form of cannelled semi-columns - of veined alabaster, encircled by a bronze laurel wreath. The pedestals in the shape of seated putti, holding a curved acanthus branch, forked to the sides, with vase-shaped sleeves for candles on wide plates; in the finial - a third sleeve.
