Waclaw Jan Strażewicz (1889-1950)- an expert in herbalism, pharmacognostic, creator of modern herbalism. It should be mentioned that he was the model for sketching the character of the scientist in the novel by Wojciech Zhurkovsky entitled Wise Herbs.
