Collection of 12 caricatures of J. Pilsudski (plus one cover drawing) with satirical captions, often in verse. The portfolio was published without publisher's data and without an index of the caricatures. According to a note on the ex. Central Military Bibliot. Military is "a collection of caricatures published around 1930 outside the official bookstore circulation [...]. The caricatures were sold in landed gentry circles." The drawings depict Jozef Pilsudski as a Chinese, a Jew, a socialist, a monarchist, a communist, a Populist, a Christian Democrat, an Endek, etc. Rips, losses and stains of the portfolio, in places non-staining of the plates, otherwise good condition. On the front cover signature. "Jakubowski mjr. dypl." : Tadeusz Jakubowski a.k.a. "Bezmian" (1891-1940), independence activist, legionnaire, doctor of laws, lieutenant colonel a auditor of the Polish Army, knight of the Order of Virtuti Militari. Rare.
