Abrasions and uncreased dustwrapper, ownership stamps, unc. loss on preface page, book block cracked, copy uncut. Lemkivshchyna - colloquial name for the area inhabited by the Lemkos. On the Polish side of the Carpathians it was the area from Wysokie Dział in the Bieszczady Mountains to the Poprad valley in Beskid Sądecki, and the so-called Szlachtowska Ruthenia on the border of Malé Pieniny and Beskid Sądecki, while on the Slovakian side it was the Beskid belt.
