In 1953 Kobzdej with Wojciech Zukrowski and a Czech journalist traveled nearly 3,000 kilometers through the jungles, rice fields and villages of Vietnam. The trip resulted in nearly 80 sketches by Kobzdej depicting the life of the Vietnamese, and a book by Zukrovsky: "A House Without Walls. A Diary of a Sojourn in Vietnam."
