The book comes from the library of Zenon Klemensiewicz (1891-1969) linguist, professor at the Jagiellonian University, author of many books on the history and theory of language, including In the Circle of Literary and Artistic Language (1961), From the Studies on Language and Style (1969) and academic textbooks: Outline of Polish Syntax (1953, 1969),Basic Knowledge ofthe Grammar of thePolish Language (1952, 1987). Professor Klemensiewicz died in a plane crash in 1969.
