"The book is intended to be the first volume of the author's intended great work; a comprehensive history of the Jewish Religious Community in Warsaw during the Second Polish Republic. The author has collected a huge amount of material. He made available [...] many documents - resolutions, resolutions, proceedings of discussions. This is material that has so far been little known and therefore little used by other historians. The archives of the Commune were destroyed during the war. Hence, the primary source became the press of the time.
The author also used the remains of the archives of state authorities. Impressive is [...] the reading list [...]. This work is an important contribution to the study of the history of Jews in Poland and Polish-Jewish relations."
