Tygodnik Literacki (Literary Weekly) devoted to literature, fine arts and criticism - a cultural and social weekly with a progressive program, published in Poznan in 1838-1846. The magazine was initially edited by Antoni Poplinski and Jozef Lukaszewicz, but in late 1839 it was taken over by Antoni Woykowski (1817-1850). Under his leadership, the magazine gained a high literary level and national publicity. Among the contributors to the Weekly were: Edward Dembowski, Jozef Ignacy Kraszewski, Karol Libelt, Juliusz Słowacki, and Kazimierz Erenberg. The magazine's co-editor was Julia Molińska-Woykowska, wife of Antoni Woykowski, a promoter of women's emancipation. The circulation fluctuated between 1500-2000 pieces. Prussian censorship caused problems for the magazine. Woykowski also ran into financial problems, which caused the project to collapse and the magazine to close in 1846
