It contains reproductions of all major works of the artist, including the series "Year of the Hunter". J. Kossak (1824-1899) - lover and eulogist of noble customs and chivalrous splendor of the First Republic remains one of the most popular and respected artists in Poland. Considered the founder of Polish battle painting and a master of watercolors, he went down in history as an unparalleled painter of horses. The monograph owes its high level of content to Stanislaw Witkiewicz (1851-1915), a painter and prominent art critic.
