When the saint returned to his homeland's bosom.... Commemorative album of the magnificent celebrations of the canonization of St. Andrew Bobola in Rome and the celebrations accompanying the transport of the remains of the Polish martyr, throughout Poland.
"Catholic Poland recently celebrated a great feast: the return of the relics of the one-time blessed, this year counted by the papal capital among the saints of St. Andrew Bobola, a Polish believer and martyr, from the capital of Christianity to the bosom of the Fatherland. This return of the relics of the Polish saint (...) became a great triumphal procession, signifying the great "beyond the grave victory" of the Saint over the hearts and minds of the nations. The course of these magnificent celebrations in Rome and in all Polish cities has been reproduced here in a series of photographs, which, gathered together in this album together with photographs of the documents of the cult of the Saint in Europe and Poland, will constitute a modest but pleasant and solemn commemoration of these celebrations."
