A pair of handbooks ("Troublesome Questions" and "From Word to Word") illustrating the views of 20 or 50 years ago on issues in the public debate to date. The first item, "Troublesome Questions," was aimed at parents who wanted to prepare for uncomfortable questions from their kids along the lines of "what is intercourse," "what is homosexuality," etc.
The second item ("From Word to Word") is a language handbook from the turn of the 2000s in which one can find, among other things, considerations of the use of names associated with Africa.
Despite the passage of years, the issues discussed in the handbooks are still important social issues today. The aforementioned handbooks illustrate how public debate has changed on them.
