Pursuant to the order of the Reichskommissar für die Festigung deutschen Volkstums of 3. 11. 1939, I order the seizure of the apartment with any belonging business with all appurtenances. All furniture and items of equipment including bedding and linen must remain in the proper miel. [...] whoever unlawfully removes or destroys the facilities in these houses and lavatories shall be punished by imprisonment and in severe cases by death. Format 15/18 cm. 2 page print. Polish and German text. Traces of folding. [ I am quoting part of the text of this German decree to convince those who claim that we should not seek war reparations from the "good Germans"].
