The book has received many editions and translations into English and German. Tende K. (1618 - 1697), a French historian who came to Poland and served as treasurer to King John Casimir. His 25-year stay in Poland resulted in his memoirs, in which he describes political, social and moral matters. Among other things, it contains a list and characteristics of Polish kings; remarks on the Polish system. He devotes a great deal of space to the Socynians - here the Polish friars active mainly in Rakov. Traces of non-moisture, brown leather binding, gilt. Inscriptions on the spine. Good condition.
