Documents handwritten, typewritten, printed on duplicator. Material divided into 5 groups: PTT Membership, Tatra Guiding, Mountain Tourist Badge, Skiing and Hiking Trails.
PTT Membership: three applications to the Board of the PTT Tourist Section with a request to become a member of the section; the letter was written by Jozef Frischer from Cracow (1923), Witold Romer from Zakopane (1924) - with a handwritten endorsement by Rev. J. Humpola, Waclaw Kowalewski from Lodz (no date). In two cases, a list of mountain expeditions made by the candidates was provided. Attached is a similar list by J. Z. Bujak on a loose sheet and a notice of admission of an unknown person to the PTT High-Mountain Club (1950)
Tatra guiding: handwritten complaint about dishonest conduct of guide Klimek Bachleda towards foreign tourists (1907), request (to M. Swierz) to send pieces of the "Rules and Regulations for Guides" to the Stanislawow branch of the PTT in connection with training conducted there (1926), request for comments on the new guide regulations (1932), report on the first training course for PTT guides in Stanislawow (1937). A total of four documents.
Mountain Tourist Badge: nine hundred letters from 1935-1939 concerning the name of the new badge, the draft of its regulations, the printing of the regulations without consultation and with errors, as well as the Report of the GOT Commission for 1938 and the official list of badges awarded in 1937. Skiing: seven documents from 1926-1930, including, among others: cash statement of the PTT Ski Section for 1929, request of the Polish Zw. Ski Association to grant discounts to its members in the shelters at Morskie Oko and Roztoka (1926), thanks for the PTT's funding of a prize (a leather briefcase) in the skiing competition (1927), information about the election of new authorities of the Skiing Section (1927 and 1930), a list of addresses of the Skiing Sections of the PTT. Hiking Trails: thirty-six documents from 1923-1947 devoted to the marking, marking, maintenance of mountain hiking trails, accounting for work done, etc. The collection includes, among others: Project of the order of construction of roads and paths in the Tatra and Carpathian Mountains (1923), Protocol on the delineation of the road over the Reglami, Barana Skała, Łysanki, Dolina Białego, Za Bramką, Ku Dziura (1924), Marked paths and mountain roads by the Stanisławów Branch of the PTT (1924), Instruction for marking tourist trails (1930 and 1932), Guidelines for maintaining and building tourist trails in the Polish Carpathians (W. Mileski, 1934), Summary of works in the mountains (1937), Order of works for the current season (manuscript by W. Mileski for Z. Korosadowicz, 1937), request to set up signs and signposts in the annexed Zaolzie (1938), three completed forms confirming the completion of works on the trails (1938-1939, branches Drohobych, Kolomyja, Krakow), settlement of the cost of works and materials (1947), order to make signposts (1947). The collection consists of 61 documents. Attached is a photo taken in front of the entrance to the rescue station in Kuznice. Tears in the margins of some pages, traces of folding, minor stains.
