StanislawSzukalski, a.k.a. "Stach from Warta" (born December 13, 1893 in Warta, died May 19, 1987 in Burbank) - Polish sculptor, painter, draughtsman, designer and theoretician, leader of the Horned Heart Strain. He worked mainly in the United States. In addition to his numerous artistic works, he also created a concept about the origin of the ancient Poles (Lechites) called Zermatism, considered a pseudo-science. During the interwar period, he was one of the more colorful figures in the artistic life of Warsaw and Krakow.
