The main work of Jozef (Jerzy Karol) Szujski (born June 16, 1835 in Tarnów, died February 7, 1883 in Cracow) - Polish historian, one of the Cracow stans, publicist, poet, prose writer. He was also a co-founder of the Polish Review and the first general secretary of the Academy of Arts and Sciences in Krakow.
