A collection of dozens of entries to stambuchs from the Romantic period with facsimiles of some of the entries and signatures of, among others, Tomasz Zan, Ignacy Chodźko, Adam Mickiewicz, Julian Niemcewicz, Zygmunt Krasinski, Kornel Ujejski. Entries reproduced from originals or reprinted, numerous reproductions of drawings.
Cardboard publisher's binding designed by J. Harland Zajączkowska (sig. on cover). The front cover shows a subtle design with a dominant motif of an angel centrally placed in an ornate wreath of red roses and green leaves. This gives the cover a romantic and delicate character. On a light background, incorporated geometric patterns on which there are small flowers at regular intervals. On the back cover, the artistic treatment is repeated, but in the central part an illustration depicting a scene with nature is placed, maintained in a romantic aesthetic.
A beautiful edition in terms of typography, with ornate initials in the text, numbered text compositionally enclosed in floral borders.
