SILLS. Warsaw. 4. brochure.
R. 38, no. 41 (1623): Oct. 8, 1972. pp. 23, [1].
Very good condition. An issue of the popular satirical weekly devoted entirely to comics. On the front cover a drawing by Andrzej Dudzinski showing the clash of two superheroes, inside a short presentation of the most popular series: Betty Boop, Dick Tracy, Tarzan, Peanuts, Barbarella, Asterix and others, as well as a parody of "Captain Kloss". The magazine's regular columns also took on a comic form: film review, Affairs and Cases, Laughing Worthy, Grievance Diary and Jerzy Urban's column. The same character was assumed by the ridiculous anti-advertisement on the last page. Next to the dramatic scene of Tarzan's fight with a lion, the caption reads: "Do you want to become Tarzan? Anger will give you strength! Buy expired mackerel fillets at Warsaw's 'Supersam' immediately!".
