The author - Priest Feliks Sznarbachowski (1876-1931) associated with Volhynia, had a reputation as an outstanding organizer and social activist, repeatedly punished by the tsarist authorities for religious-national activity, risking his life to save the Jewish population from pogroms, builder of churches. "Dochód earmarked for the construction of the Church-Memorial, in Kowel, Volhynia". - on p. titlepage. publisher's covers with minor cracks, light creasing in places k. Rare.
