Maria Orłowska-Gabryś (b. 1925, d. 1988) - Polish illustrator, graphic designer.
She graduated from the Jan Matejko Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow.
She made illustrations for more than a hundred books, these include: "The Fairy Tale Tells" by Maria Niklewiczowa, ""The Black Sheep" by Jan Grabowski, "Boys from the Bronze Square" by Ferenc Molnár, "Kichuś majstra Lepigliny" by Janina Porazińska, "The Kingdom of Fairy Tales" by Ewa Szelburg-Zarembina, Edith Nesbit's fantasy-adventure series ("Five Children and Something", "The Phoenix and the Carpet", "The Story of the Amulet"), Maria Kownacka's "The Garden", Maria Konopnicka's "The School Adventures of Pimpus Sadełko", also Astrid Lindgren's novels - "Mio, My Mio" and "Rasmus and the Tramp".
