Ivan Solonevich (1891-1953) - Russian journalist, writer and anti-communist activist. He was born in Russia, where he initially supported the revolution, but soon became its opponent. Arrested by Soviet authorities, he was sent to a gulag, from where he managed to escape in 1934. This escape formed the basis of his best-known book, offered "Russia in a Concentration Camp," which reveals the brutality of the Soviet system. After his escape, he settled in the Baltic States, and later in Germany and Argentina. Until the end of his life, he was active as a journalist, warning the world about communism.
