Back slightly discolored, slight loss of edge of back cover, otherwise good condition. A highly regarded work by Stanisław Sokołowski (1865-1942), forester and co-founder of the Tatra National Park. In the preface he writes: "I have tried to present the conditions and manifestations of the life of the Tatra forest, its composition, structure and significance, as well as to illuminate certain factors of economic nature, little known to wide circles".
